Understanding Your Free Trial

Everything you need to know about your 7-day free trial, the $11 account credit, and what happens when the trial ends.

Quick Summary

  • Your account comes with $11 free credit automatically loaded.
  • This covers the cost of one local landline number ($10) and leaves $1 for test outbound calls.
  • Inbound calls are completely free.
  • No credit card is required to start the trial.

What the $11 credit covers

When you create a free Click2Call account, we automatically load it with $11 of credit. This credit is designed to let you test the system fully before committing.

The $11 is exactly enough to:

  1. Activate one local regional landline number (02, 03, 07, or 08) which costs $10 per month.
  2. Make a handful of test outbound calls using the remaining $1 credit.

Because inbound calls are completely free, this setup gives you the full 7 days to add a number, set up an auto-attendant, register a softphone or desk phone, and test receiving calls without spending a cent.

Note on 1300/1800 numbers: National 1300 and 1800 numbers cost more than local numbers and are not covered by the $11 trial credit. If you wish to test a 1300 number, you will need to add a credit card and top up your account balance.

What to do during your 7 days

To get the most out of your trial, we recommend following these steps:

  1. Add a number: Go to Account → Numbers and add a local number.
  2. Set up a device: Download our softphone app or register a SIP desk phone.
  3. Test inbound calls: Call your new Click2Call number from your mobile to ensure it rings your device.
  4. Test outbound calls: Use your remaining $1 credit to make a few short test calls to your mobile.
  5. Explore features: Set up a voicemail greeting, create a ring group, or build an auto-attendant menu.

What happens after the trial?

At the end of the 7 days, or when your $11 credit runs out (whichever comes first), your outbound calling will be suspended until you add a payment method and top up your account.

Building your setup after the trial

The $10 Inbound Business Number you activated during the trial is ideal for receiving inbound calls. Many businesses keep it exactly as it is — routing inbound calls to an auto-attendant, applying after-hours rules, or directing callers to the right team. There is no need to change it.

For staff who need to make outbound calls, simply add one or more Cloud PBX User plans ($25/month each) to your account. Each Cloud PBX User includes 300 outbound minutes per month to standard Australian numbers and can be assigned their own extension. Your $10 inbound number continues to sit alongside these users, handling all incoming calls.

For example, a small business might keep the $10 number for inbound calls and add two Cloud PBX Users for two staff members who make outbound calls — a total of $60/month for a fully functional phone system.

To get started, simply log in to the portal, add a credit card, and add the plans you need under the Subscriptions tab.
